FeedbackManager

FeedbackManager is our own internally build bug tracking and feedback request system. From within your clients database, from a single button click, they can send bug reports, feature requests, or ask questions.

It automatically includes all of the debugging information you need, plus allows for optional screenshots, so you can see what is going on. Plus you can customise the information to send whatever data you want. And to use, it requires a single script added to a single file in your solution which can be then linked from anywhere you want.

At the developer end you can keep a track of everything you've received, and respond as appropriate. You can assign projects to a developer and email them whenever a new issue is reported. You can respond automatically to each request to let them know you've received it and are working on it.

You can track which version you're making changes in and record notes for each change. Then you can choose to respond to the user with your change notes immediately, or later, when the new version is brought on line.

When will it be available? Our first product is the DDR analysis tool BaseElements. After that has been released, we're looking to finish documenting our UpdateManager solution. And after that... we'll be completing and releasing our FeedbackManager product. So it's a way off. We're not going to put a date on it, but if you're so excited you can't possibly wait, then contact us and we'll work something out.
